Get Your Child Sleeping
You are tired. You have read all the sleep coaching books. You have tried to sleep coach but your baby cried and you couldn't continue. You and your partner cannot decide on the right direction to go in to help your little one sleep. You want to know that the road to sleep coaching you choose to travel is the right one for your child. I can help you achieve this with my Sleep Coaching Programs.
I will work with you to create an individualized, step-by-step sleep plan that will factor in your parenting philosophy, your child’s age, health and temperament, mother’s well-being and the related family dynamics. And, most importantly, I will support and coach you through the process from beginning to end for nighttime sleep and naps!
At Sleep Cadets we are committed to helping parents create healthy sleep habits for their children. Sleep plays a vital role in good health and well-being throughout your life, and it is never too early (or too late) to start good habits.
In my distinct Sleep Coaching Programs, I work with you, either over the phone or in your home, and help you sleep coach your baby. You will learn the difference between your baby’s habits and needs, I’ll help you to determine when to hold back and when to respond, and your baby will be fully sleep trained within a a few weeks or as little as a couple of days . Featured in AOL's Patch, Newsday and New York State Parenting Education Partnership as one of New York’s Top Pediatric Sleep Experts!
I Can Help
Sleep Cadets founder, Rebecca Kammerer is a writer, public speaker and savior of a sleep deprived childhood, devoted to the pursuit of healthy sleep for all families with whom she works. Rebecca remembers the early days of being a new parent. She referees to herself as, "The Bear". She explains the self inflicted title by saying, "I could barley function. I looked like a grumpy ole' bear and I would growl at everyone, especially my husband."
She recalls how she would wake from the (very little) slumber that she did get, feeling angry. "I would feel awful. I did not know how I was going to make it through the day. I later learned that sleep deprivation is used as a form of torture. That's when I knew that I needed help getting sleep". Read Rebecca’s story here.
